A new ongoing documentary publication series issued by AP RF as a “journal within the journal,” Istochnik. The initial issue contains four published documents from the “special file” about the organization of AP RF, dating from 1990 through 1991 (pp. 115–16). Additional published documents in the first issue, and those in subsequent issues of Istochnik (1995–) comprise selected documents from the archive, including, for example, Stalin’s appointment journal recording those who visited his office.

An item-level inventory of the miscellaneous collection of copies of 3,615 declassified documents from files of the Presidential Archive (AP RF), along with files from the KGB and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and other repositories that were released to the Constitutional Court. Although many of the originals remain in AP RF, xerox copies are deposited in RGANI (fond 89). Reprints the serial edition with cumulative name and subject indexes. An additional catalogue of the remaining documents in the collection (opisi 53–72) is in preparation. The catalogue does not provide the precise archival location for the originals from which the copies were prepared. See the microform edition of the collection listed as part of b–622.
