The library fond holds books with dedicatory autographs of well-known Soviet and foreign writers of literature for children, often in artistic and poetic form. These books include those written by the founder of the pioneer movement in the Soviet Union, N.V. Bogdanov, and authors such as S. Alekseev, V.D. Berestov, K. Bulychev, N.Iu. Durova, Iu. Koval', and E.N. Uspenskii. There are also works by foreign writers, such as Astryd Lindgren (Sweden) and Asen Bosev (Bulgaria), and books with autographs of artistic illustrators such as as N. Ustinov, L. Tokmakov, L. Vladimirskii, A. Eliseev, and E. Monin. The library has a Bible autographed by Patriarch Aleksii II.
        The manuscript journals held in the library illustrate the work of children's literary studios and the film club “Literary Heroes on the Screen” (Geroi knigi na ekrane).
        The library holds albums and folders containing photographs of writers meeting with their readers and a video film of a meeting with the Czech writer Thomas Brezina.
        Thereare sound recordings of the stories of the book illustrator V.I. Tauber, and gramophone records of children's songs by such famous song writers as A.B. Zhurbin, E.P. Krylatov, and M.S. Pliatskovskii.
        The archive holds documents relating to the founding and developmentof the library.
