History
Spanish trade union movement; emerged in the early sixties; consisted of spontaneously formed factory committees outside the official trade union; illegal but sometimes more or less tolerated, soon under communist influence; defended a revolutionary position in the Franco period but accepted the new political situation after 1975 and became a partner in the Moncloa pacts; obtained in the 1980s 35-40% of the delegates in factory elections.

Zur Entwicklung der Comisiones Obreras in der Provinz Barcelona' 1983, consisting of documents relating to the CCOO 1964-1976; documents on the workers' agitation for democracy 1969-1976; documents on various plants 1967-1977; documents on mainly communist political groups 1970-1973; texts of interviews 1978-1979.

Los documentos

(CCOO) fueron coleccionados por
Bernhard Pöter
en el cuadro de su tesis doctoral a las
CCOO en Cataluña. Generalmente la colección contiene panfletos, folletos,
circulares y algunas fotocopias de papeles de archivo.
El IISH recibió la colección en 1984. Periódicos fueron transferidos a la biblioteca del IISH. Veinte cintas magnetofónicas con material interviú fueron transferidos a la sección audiovisual. En el inv.no. 31 se encuentra parte de estas entrevistas al papel. Después de separar los periódicos quedan 0.55 metros de documentos.
