Biography
Born in Giesen 1861, died in Frankfurt am Main 1938; women's rights activist and social democrat; took part in both the liberal and socialist women's movement as a member of the Bund für Mutterschutz and member of the editorial staff of Sozialistische Monatshefte in charge of the women's page until 1908; as a contributor to Die Gleichheit, she was highly critical of Clara Zetkin's concept of separately organizing proletarian women.
