History
The collection was created by assembling miscellaneous documents collected by early contributors of the IISH, of unknown origin and donated in later years and mostly coming from Germany, some from Silesia, Austria, Switzerland and other countries.
Content
The collection contains a wide range of records of which no connection with other archives could be established or which proportion is too small to be considered a separate archive on its own; the first part (Einzelmanuskripte) consists of handwritten, typed and copied manuscripts, predominantly of published or unpublished articles and reports on political issues; the second part (Diverse) consists of other records such as (copies of) letters by and concerning political persons (Personen) and various records from and concerning political organizations (Organisationen) and political and socio-economic subjects (Sonstige Themen).
