Establised in 1934 by the merger of the Building Workers International and the Wood Workers International; later the International Secretariats of Stone Masons, of Painters and allied trades and of Bricklayers jointed the Federation; IFBWW promotes and enforces workers rights and promotes the development of trade unions in this sectors worldwide.
