INTRODUCTION

The microform edition of the archives of the Independent Labour Party, including the Francis Johnson correspondence, was published by Harvester Press from 1980. The originals are in the British Library of Political and Economic Science, London.

The microforms present at the IISH do not cover the complete microform publication: Part 4 and Part 5 of the 'Pamphlets and Leaflets' and the 'Organisational and Regional Records 1856-1955' are not available.
