Biography
True name: Boris Abramovič Ginzburg; pseudonym D. Kol'cov; social democrat; in the 1880s adherent of Narodnaja Volja; left Russia in 1893; played an important role in the social democrat emigration around the turn of the century; secretary of the Sojuz Russkich Socialdemokratov zagranicej 1895-1898; contributed to Rabotnik , Iskra and Zarja ; Menshevik after the split of 1903; returned to Russia in 1905; party activist and trade unionist.
