History
Formed in 1962, next to existing local anarchist groups in different London districts; maintained close relations with Freedom Press, usually holding office at its premises; provided speakers for various talks about anarchism for a mostly young audience; organized a yearly Anarchists Ball; involved in anti-war and anti-nuclear agitation, in particular in the Easter Aldermaston March of 1963; took part in the preparation of the International Congress of Anarchist Federations held in Carrara, Italy in 1968.
