Biography
Pseudonym: Th. Aldermann; born in Austria 1888, died in Vienna 1975; member of the Karl Marx Verein, Vienna; member of the Sozialdemokratische Arbeiterpartei in Österreich (SDAP) from 1903; employed in the social security 1918-1934; spent two years in a concentration camp; secretary of the Gewerkschaft der Bediensteten im Handel, Transport und Verkehr (HTV) 1945-1958; active in the Trotskyist International Communist League 1936 and in the Bund Sozialistischer Freiheitskämpfer.

Correspondence with Franz Modlik 1956-1960, Heinrich Thomas 1940-1972 and others; files on the Internationale Kommunisten Österreichs, in particular concerning the conflict with Louis 1945-1950; copies of articles by and on Pavelka; a great number of unpublished manuscripts including some autobiographical ones, e.g. `Aus meinen Leben' and `In Memoriam' (on his experiences in workers' organizations) both from about 1970.
