Biography
Born in Davao City, Philippines 1952; member of the Communist Party of the Philippines 1977-1992; belonged to the semi-legal cader in northcentral Mindanao 1977-1983; was sent back to Davao as member of the finance staff and later on to the internal department of the party until 1992; development worker since 1975 in favour of human rights, foreign debt, fair trade and socialism and feminism; today (2008) member of the National Council of the Akbayan Party, of the Freedom from Debt Coalition and of PATH (Peace Advocates for Truth, Healing and Justice).
