In a variant of p. 18 (in B 137/8) it is said by "Heine" that "la même opinion est loin d'avoir la même signification, chez les hommes de races diverses. Aucune".

Draft of a speech prepared by Hess for the Congress of the International in Basel. There is no stenographic record of the Congress. In the official record of the Congress Hess is mentioned in only one sentence. Brussels, 1869, p. 72) The Vorbote IV (1869), 149 is not more elaborate. It is therefore difficult to establish whether Hess really delivered the speech as it is drafted in this MS.

Direction des Archives de France. Référence à rappeler: R 150019. Paris, November 23, 1953. [...] Draft for a notary public
dated Paris,
November 1854.
Not in Hess' handwriting. IISG. 1 p. 8°..
The draft shows that Moses Hess established for his wife Sybille, née Pesch, a life annuity of 500 thalers, and that she authorized him to collect this annuity from his sister Gudula Bendix.
The current account listed in F 10 shows that on February 2, 1852, an amount of 10,000 thalers was transferred from the account of Moses Hess to Gudula Bendix. At 5 this gives a life annuity of 500 thalers.
