Biography

Born in Poland 1900, died in 1976, naturalized American by marriage; secretary to Lev Trotsky from June 1933 until February 1934; went with him from Prinkipo, Turkey, to Marseilles and Paris; returned to New York to join her husband; kept in contact with Trotsky by correspondence; again secretary to Trotsky in Mexico from May 1938 until January 1939; active in the American Trotskyist movement.
