Biography
Waterman, Peter (1936-); studied in London, Oxford, Birmingham (UK) and got a degree in West African Studies 1970s, later in Non-Western Studies; researcher and senior lecturer at the Institute of Social Studies (ISS) in The Hague (The Netherlands) on unionism and internationalism 1972-1998; scholar-activist and author; research projects on union and labour rights strategies in a changing global context by dockworkers under oppressed and Third World conditions.
