Chip card

At the Institute payment by Dutch chip card [chipknip] has become the only way to pay.

In the reading room previous copy cards will be replaced by chip cards. Prints and copies will be charged to your chip card. Visitors with a copy card that still holds a credit will be paid back in Euro's.

Visitors from outside the Netherlands can buy a chip card that is credited with Euro 10.00 or Euro 20.00 at the reception, reading room, and canteen.
Only foreign visitors will be able to ask for a refund for unused credits.
