Subcollections
Astronomy
'Astronomy' is a small collection that contains a number of sixteenth and seventeenth-century editions of particular interest. The section on 'history and bibliography' contains works by astronomers Jean Sylvain Bailly (eighteenth century) and Jean Baptiste Delambre (nineteenth century). Works with the call numbers Q 96-102 deal with the construction of globes and other constructs and models representing the Solar system.
The section on 'Solar system, Earth, fixed stars and observatories' contains many works about eclipses and observatories.
