Subcollections

Medical science

This collection contains many lectures from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries by mainly Dutch scientists. It also contains a number of historically important medical dictionaries and other reference works. These include a pharmacopaea from different countries from the nineteenth century (O 478-487), collected as part of the activities by a research committee of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences in the beginning of the twentieth century.
