"Comrades, During the meeting of the dancer/choreographer group called 'Workers of Dance' at the Sorbonne, the frank discussion resulted in a very fruitful exchange of ideas. The main conclusion was: Down with the present structure of society, which no longer satisfies the needs of the individual, nor the vocational training of performing artists. On the wings of the revolutionary movement of students and workers, the occasion arises for us to rally and let Dance be born anew, to reflect the needs of society."
