Chen Chengqi 陈承齐


Chen Chengqi (1946) is from Qingtian, Zhejiang Province. In 1966, he started working in a steel mill in Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province. In his spare time, he studied art under Hu Zhenyu. In 1978, he was transferred to the the Mass Art Centre in Shijiazhuang. After he passed the entrance examinations for the Central Art Academy in 1982, he studied in the Oil Painting department for two years. He now heads the Shijiazhuang Painting Academy.
