Cui Kaixi 崔开玺


Cui Kaixi (1935) hails from Yexian, Shandong Province. He joined the People's Liberation Army in the early 1950s, and started creating art in his spare time. From 1963-1965, he took special training in oil painting at the Central Art Academy. Over the years, he continued to be actively creating art. He now heads the Military Drawing Office of the Military Art Academy.

Cui is specialized in oil painting and water colors. He was awarded prizes for some of his paintings, and his work has been included in a number of collections.
