Guo Zhongguang 郭重光


Guo Zhongguang (1931) is from Huai'an, Hebei Province. After his graduation from middle school he was apprentice of various artists. In 1951, he started working in the Art and Literature Section of the Zhangjiakou Municipal People's Government, and two years later, he was made the art editor of the Zhangjiakou Daily (张家口日报,Zhangjiakou ribao). Since 1981, he heads the Zhanjiakou Regional Mass Art Center.

The grasslands are connected with Beijing, 1977

Guo's favored media are New Year pictures and papercuts.
