Li Linxiang 利林祥


Li Linxiang (1938) is a native from Shenyang, Liaoning Province. He graduated from the Chinese Painting Department of the Lu Xun Fine Arts Academy in 1964. He was assigned to the Liaoning Fine Arts Publishing House, where he still works. Li specializes in New Year pictures and cartoon strips.

People's heroes, 1984

The poster above, which represents the Nine Marshals of the People's Liberation Army, made Li the recipient of an award. He collaborated with Zhang Xiushi on this work, which was awarded a prize.
