Liang Yulong 梁玉龙


Liang Yulong (1922) was born in Changsha, Hunan Province. After his graduation from the Art Department of the National Central University in Nanjing in 1947, he went to the Nanjing China Film Company the next year to make cartoons. In 1950, he joined the Drama Improvement Office under the Ministry of Culture in Beijing. He took a refresher course at the Oil Painting Department of the Central Art Academy, from which he graduated in 1963. Over the years, Liang has been a teacher, an artist and a professor at the Oil Painting Department of the Central Art Academy.

Liang's favored medium is oil paint. Some of his works have been included in the collection of the China Art Gallery.
