Pang Tao 庞涛

Pang Tao (1934) is from Jiangsu. She graduated from the Central Art Academy in 1955, where she studied under Dong Xiwen, and subsequently took up teaching. Pang specializes in oil painting.

The poster above, devoted to Zhou Enlai's visit to the model commune Dazhai and meeting with its Secretary Chen Yonggui, is based on an original oil painting by Ms. Pang, in collaboration with Su Gaoli and her husband, Lin Gang.
