Shu Chuanxi 舒传熹


Shu Chuanxi (1932) was born in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. After his graduation from the Huadong Fine Arts Training Institute (Shanghai) in 1955, he went to Eastern Europe for further study. In 1961, he graduated from the Leipzig Art Academy in the former German Democratic Republic.

Shu, who specializes in Chinese painting and woodblock prints, designed the poster above in collaboration with Wang Qingsheng.
