Wang Dawei 王大为

Wang Dawei (1938) is from Xiuyan, Liaoning Province. After his graduation from middle normal school in 1960, he took up teaching. His artistic activities started in 1965, when he was attached to the mass art section of a cultural center in Liaoning Province. In later years, he continued this type of work.

Wang is a very versatile artist: he creates woodblock prints, New Year pictures, as well as cartoons.
