Yang Furu 杨馥如


Yang Furu (1918) hails from Wuxi, Jiangsu Province. In 1935, he started to work in the Bai'e Drawing Academy in Shanghai, and continued his creative activities in his spare time. He transferred to the New Year pictures sections of the Shanghai People's Fine Arts Publishing House in 1956.

Yang is known for his New Year pictures, of which more than 180 have been published since 1949.
