Zhang Xin'guo 张辛国


Zhang Xin'guo (1926) is from Anping, Hebei Province. Zhang joined the People's Liberation Army in 1947 and created art in his spare time. In 1950, he attended the Central Art Academy. He transferred to civilian life in 1955, when he joined the Hebei People's Fine Arts Publishing House to become editor. One of the journals he worked on was the Hebei Illustrated. After a long life of editorial activity, he now is retired.

Zhang is known for his comic strips and New Year pictures.
