Two new volumes have been added to the collected works of Karl Korsch, one of the major theoreticians of Marxism. Volumes 8 and 9 offer more than 600 letters from the collections of the IISH and from many private collections. It has been possible to fill up the hitherto existing gap in Korsch's correspondence between 1908 and 1933.
Being one of the founders of the Institut für Sozialforschung in Frankfurt am Rhein, Korsch corresponded with members of the institute (Max Horkheimer, Leo Löwenthal, Friedrich Pollock, Felix Weil), as well as with Bertold Brecht and Paul Mattick. Included also are extensive discussions with his scholar and friend Paul Partos, as well as letters to his former combatant Ruth Fischer and to historian and Marx researcher Roman Rosdolsky.

The volumes can be ordered from Offizin Verlag (www.offizin-verlag.de)
