Rates
Rates for copying and borrowing documents from the collections of the IISH, NEHA, and Press Museum.
At the Institute payment by Dutch chip card has become the only way to pay.
Visitors from outside the Netherlands can buy a chip card that is credited with Euro 10.00 or Euro 20.00 at the reception and reading room.

Important!
All the charges do not include bank charges and postal charges.
The Institute is the safe keeper of collections and does not intermediate in questions about copyrights held by third parties.
The Institute accepts no liability whatsoever arising from the use of its materials. Users are responsible for conforming to all relevant statutory provisions concerning copyright.
Orders from outside the Netherlands and exceeding € 250.- will be handled only after receiving a prepayment of € 250.-.

Scans will be delivered at 300 dpi (TIFF).
Other resolutions or file formats are possible after consultation.
For reproductions of posters larger than A0-size (118,9 x 84,1 cm) please consult the reproduction department
Delivery of scans by FTP server, only in exceptional cases it can be delivered on CD-R (700 MB): € 5.- ; on DVD (4.2 GB): € 10.-
For collections of which the IISH owns the copyrights (like the collection of the Algemeen Hollands Fotopersbureau of Ben van Meerendonk) other charges are applied.
Microfilms, microfiches
There will be an additional fee of €6.00 for sending reproductions.
Duplicate film per roll (30.5 meter or less): € 50.- (minimum amount)
Scan of microfilm / microfiche: € 1.00 per scan
Dvd, video- and audiotapes
There will be an additional fee of €6.00 for sending reproductions.
€ 10.- for a copy from dvd to dvd
€ 20.- for a copy from video tape (vhs, u-matic, h8) to dvd
€ 10.- for a copy from LP to audio cassette
€ 20.- for a copy from LP to cd
€ 10.- for a copy from audio cassette to audio cassette
€ 20.- for a copy from audio cassette to CD.
Hiring our studio for photographic facilities at the Institute
There will be a charge of € 50.- per hour (with a minimum of € 50.-).

Archives and visual materials
For archival documents, books, pamphlets and various kinds of visual materials used in exhibitions the following rates (exhibition charge) apply:

Framing costs for posters
Only posters framed by the IISH will be available for loan.
Posters will be framed between 2-3 mm plexiglass, backed with acid-free board and sealed with bright tape, see image 1.

No original photographs will be available for loan. Reproductions may be ordered at the rates listed above.
