Kuwaits largest newspaper The Daily News of 7 December 1969 contains a warning by the president of Lebanon. Without a solution to the conflict in the Middle East not a single people in the world will be safe for its consequences in the future. On the front page also: a car with 14 kilo weed has been found in Modena, Italy. The Kuwait Oil Company' contribution to the local economy was increased with 20 percent compared with 1968 and more than 70 percent of the company staff is Arabian.
