Jayne Mansfield in Amsterdam

10 October 1957 was a fine day for the Dutch daily De Telegraaf.  Jayne Mansfield paid the newspaper a visit. The rising star continued her publicity strategy that had previously been so successful in the States: "Jayne would visit newspapers and provide the overworked reporters with cheer in the form of a spirited hug and kiss." The next day her photo would appear in all these newspapers. In Rotterdam, at the soccer match between Sparta and DOS, Jayne Mansfield played the historical kick-off.
