Cracking the Karmic Egg

New Journal, a publication of New Age Communications, started appearing in January 1975. The editors want to depose the spiritual world and chose to use the journal as its strategy. They characterize it as: 'a form of meditation in action'. The first issue is called 'Cracking the Karmic Egg', and is an issue about 'healing'. The articles and ads are about alternative meditation and natural foods. Even the Cosmicliche crossword puzzle maintains the moods:
