Liberty has a Last Supper on 29 July 1830, the third "glorious revolutionary" day (Les trois glorieuses) in Paris. This revolution brought an end to the autocratic regime of King Charles X. Traditionally, Judas is among the apostles, but in this case Judas is the republican, Casimir Pierre Périer (1777-1832). During the reign of the next monarch, Louis Philippe, Périer will become prime minister, renouncing his previous republican principles by suppressing republican sentiment in France and elsewhere.
